MANY PEOPLE HAVE TOO LITTLE!
As part of a responsible and professional tourism practice, we have chosen to actively participate in the life of children in our country. A school was created on October 10th, 3400 m. above sea level, at the foot of the Illiniza south peak. It was legalized by the Ministry of Education on November 21st 2002 and it currently runs on its own resources.
It has 25 primary school students grouped in a single classroom, regardless of their grade. These children, from a less privileged socio-economic class, live in a place where life is quite different from that of the visitors who travel to discover the world.
This very modest group lives in harsh conditions. Our agency aids them by purchasing school supplies, clothing, shoes and so on. This is the reason why we invite you to participate in our project. You may visit and spend time with them. Furthermore, we welcome your ideas to help them. In case of contributions, we can purchase together the basic things for these children who thank you in advance.
Please let us know if you are willing to include a visit in your route to the school and whether you are interested in sponsoring one of the children.
Paul and Paola
this school is named after our grandfather
Dr. Euclides Salazar Pazmiño (1898 - 1987).
